New edition of FOCUS is available

The June 2025 edition of FOCUS is back from the printers and will be delivered along with the Community Advertiser the last week in May. Copies are also available from your Elder or the front door of the church, the Library and Ardardan. This is a poignant edition of our church magazine as our beloved minister Rev Maggie McArthur announces that she is retiring ate the end of July this year. CARDROSS CARES. Thanks the many volunteers and the team organising the postcard distribution for our community. The postcards have all been delivered to the volunteers to put in the doors allocated to them and we hope to have them all out by Sunday evening. Remember that the two Nurseries/Garden shops are both able to do deliveries.

Christmas Fair

Next Saturday, the 30th November, sees the official start of the Christmas season as we hold our Christmas Fair. There will be all the usual stalls, home baking and the raffle and the tickets are on sae now at only £3 for an adult and £1 for children. Tea or coffee and a selection of mince pies, cakes and shortbread are included in the price of your ticket. Any donations of raffle prizes, home baking etc will be gratefully received by the organisers. Please contact the church office for further details.

2019 Christmas Card

We have designed and printed our Christmas card again this year which will be delivered to all the homes in the village. It features all the main services and events that are taking place over the Christmas period. We hope you like the card and that you'll keep it handy to remind you of all the things that are happening and that you will find time to come along and join us at Cardross Parish Church or St Mahews. Come and celebrate 53 years of the Playgroup

This coming Saturday morning (7th Sept) will see us hold a Family Fun Day and Celebration for the Playgroup who have moved out of the church hall 53 years after it was founded in the village. The event will feature lots of thing including the unveiling of a new statue in the garden of children at play, the planting of two trees and the placing of new picnic benches. EVERYONE who has had anything to do with the Playgroup is invited along to join us. **PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS**
