***Rev MacArthur on misleading column in The Herald today***

Dear friends,

Some of you may have read the article in the Herald today by Rosemary Goring. From my personal point of view I wondered if she was talking about the same Church of Scotland that I serve as a Minister of Word and Sacrament. We have all faced difficult times these past few months and we still have many challenges to face in the months ahead. Whatever decisions are taken regarding the opening of churches they will be done so with the very best interests of our congregations at heart. Our members’ safety is paramount as is the safety of all in our communities who use church facilities - regardless of age. We take seriously our responsibility to offer safe places and respect each and every person out of our love for Jesus Christ.
